Bones & Co. Sales Manager
Job Description:
As a Sales Manager, you will own and execute sales activities for various territories throughout the US, as well as providing direction and oversight to one to two Sales Representatives. You will manage and build relationships with stores throughout the US, conduct virtual trainings and represent the brand at distributor and trade shows. You must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to execute and optimize the company sales strategy and process.
Responsibilities:
Execute and assist in optimizing the company sales strategy and process.
Call and sell directly to accounts
Build relationship with stores, chains, broker team members and distributor representatives based on nutritional knowledge and consultative approach
Provide information and support to accounts related to sales promotions and retailer programs
Provide direction for the sales representative(s) – provide guidance, context and mentorship
Ensure all sales activities are captured in the customer relationship management software database and leverage its full capabilities
Knowledgably, professionally and effectively represent the brand
Execute the company sales strategy and process and work to meet weekly and monthly metrics
Facilitate virtual trainings
Represent the brand at distributor and national trade shows.
Necessary Skills
Sales experience in the pet industry with a proven track record of growth and success
CRM Master – must be skilled at using/optimizing the tech stack to move sales activity through the funnel
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
Process focused – Commitment to following the proven sales process of the organization and SOP’s and getting the sales team to do so as well
Travel:
This position will require 20-30% travel
